La Belle Cachette – First Floor Modern Comfort
Situated on the first floor, La Belle Cachette is a tastefully decorated 70m2 apartment in the centre of the village of Matougues in the Champagne region. With two comfortable double en-suite bedrooms, its modern, calming style will make you feel instantly at home and is ideal for two couples to stay and visit this stunning UNESCO area.

La Belle Prise – Ground Floor with Private Entrance
La Belle Prise is a modern 70m2 ground floor apartment with its own private entrance. There is a small seating area outside to enjoy a glass of champagne in the evening sun! In the centre of the village of Matougues, it is perfectly situated to visit the Champagne area with easy access from the motorway. The two comfortable bedrooms are en-suite, one double and one twin that can be joined to make a double bed, making this apartment ideal for families, you can even bring your dog on holiday!

The main bedroom offers a large window, a 160 cm hotel-quality double bed and a modern ensuite shower room.
The second bedroom features two single beds that can be converted into a double upon request, natural daylight from a light well and its own modern ensuite shower room with hairdryer and heated towel rail.
Baby equipment is available on request.

Perfectly situated to explore the numerous towns and places of interest in the Champagne region. It was perfect for 2 couples travelling together especially as each bedroom has its own ensuite. Ruth was an excellent host, she greeted us and gave us an overview on arrival. It has the additional benefit of an EV charger. There is an excellent auberge within an 8 minute walk, we had one of the best meals we have ever eaten. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this region."

This was our first visit and will hopefully be one of many in the future. The apartment we stayed in is upstairs. It has its own front door and stairs. There is parking directly outside. The apartment is very well set out. You enter via the spacious very, modern and extremely well fitted out open plan living /dining and kitchen area. There are two comfortable settees and a great TV. The heating in all rooms is via air conditioning units and the windows have electric velux blinds. There are two good sized bedrooms. Both have their own air conditioning units and very nice ensuite rooms. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, glasses, plates pans etc that you would need for one night or several nights. There is a very comprehensive welcoming folder with lots of information about the local area. This time we stayed for one night as we were travelling onwards to the Alps. It is very convenient for the A26 exit /Entry. It would be really nice to visit again and explore the region. Thank you Ruth we had a great stay."

How do we access the property? We prefer to welcome you personally, but there is a key box when this is not possible
Is there parking nearby? There is space for one vehicle per apartment and there is plenty of dedicated free parking in the village
Are linen and towels provided? Yes, and beds are made for your arrival
What make is the coffee machine? Dolce Gusto and we provide some capsules to begin with
Is there somewhere to store our bikes /sporting equipment? Yes there is a locked hangar next door
What do we do if we have a problem? There are details of medical centres in the welcome folder and a defibrillator in front of the mairie. For anything else, contact us and we will do our best to help!
