SHORT-TERM HOLIDAY RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

(France – Online Bookings)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all online bookings made through www.lesbelsapparts.com for the furnished holiday rentals La Belle Cachette and La Belle Prise, situated in France.

By completing a booking, the person making the reservation (“the Guest”) confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all occupants.

1. PURPOSE OF RENTAL

The accommodation is provided exclusively as short-term holiday accommodation (location meublée de courte durée).
The rental does not constitute a residential lease or confer any tenancy rights under French law.

2. PROPERTIES

These Terms apply to the following furnished holiday rentals:

• La Belle Cachette
• La Belle Prise

Each property is fully furnished and equipped for short-term stays only.

3. BOOKING & OCCUPANCY

• The booking Guest must be at least 18 years of age.
• The number of occupants must not exceed the maximum stated at the time of booking.
• No additional guests are permitted without prior approval.

The Guest is responsible for ensuring all occupants comply with these Terms.

4. RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period begins and ends on the dates confirmed at the time of booking.

• Check-in: from the time indicated on the booking confirmation
• Check-out: by the time indicated on the booking confirmation

Late check-out or early check-in may result in additional charges unless expressly authorised.

5. PRICES, PAYMENTS & TAXES

• Rental prices are shown at the time of booking.
• Payment terms (deposit and/or balance) are specified during the online booking process.
• Any applicable tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is payable in accordance with local regulations.

Bookings are non-transferable.

6. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit may be pre-authorised or charged prior to arrival.

The deposit may be used to cover:

• Damage to the property or its contents
• Missing items
• Excessive cleaning
• Breach of these Terms

Any unused balance will be released or refunded within a reasonable period after departure.

7. USE OF THE PROPERTY

The Guest agrees:

• To use the property in a respectful and lawful manner
• Not to organise parties, events, or gatherings
• Not to engage in any commercial, illegal, or disruptive activities
• Not to sub-let or allow third-party use

Quiet enjoyment of neighbours must be respected at all times.

8. CONDITION & DAMAGE

The Guest accepts the property in good condition and agrees to:

• Report any damage or malfunction promptly
• Be responsible for any damage caused during the stay

The cost of repairs or replacements may be deducted from the security deposit.

9. CLEANING

The property must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Excessive cleaning requirements may result in additional charges.

10. CANCELLATION & MODIFICATIONS

Cancellation and modification conditions are those stated during the online booking process or on the applicable booking platform.

No refund is due for early departure.

11. LIABILITY

The Owner/Manager shall not be liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• Injury, accident, illness, or death occurring during the stay

The Guest occupies the property at their own risk.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

The Owner shall not be held responsible for cancellation, interruption, or inconvenience resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or utility failures.

13. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in France.

14. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By completing an online booking on www.lesbelsapparts.com, the Guest confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all occupants, without the need for signature.
